With Cosphaderm® Panthenol natural 98 and Cosphaderm® Panthenol natural 75, Cosphatec is launching two new panthenol variants that bring the well-known benefits of this popular active ingredient to modern natural cosmetics formulations. This opens up new possibilities for formulators to implement natural concepts without compromising on performance or flexibility.
Panthenol has been one of the most tried-and-tested active ingredients in cosmetics for decades. It is known for its moisturising, soothing and regenerating properties and is used in a wide range of skin, hair an nail care products. The new Cosphaderm® Panthenol variations are 100% natural, comply with COSMOS and NATRUE standards and are sustainably produced through biofermentation of corn.
Not every formulation places the same demands on a raw material. That is why the new Cosphatec offers two variants for different formulation objectives:
Cosphaderm® Panthenol natural 98
This high-purity, viscous variant is based on natural D-panthenol and offers formulators maximum flexibility. The high active ingredient content allows for individual dosing, making the product the ideal choice for bespoke formulations where precision and active ingredient performance are key.
Cosphaderm® Panthenol natural 75
This transparent, slightly viscous 75 % solution has been developed for particularly easy handling. Thanks to its pre-diluted form, it can be easily integrated into water-based systems and supports an efficient development process without compromising on the proven properties of panthenol.
For more than 20 years, Cosphatec has been developing innovative raw materials for natural cosmetics and supporting manufacturers worldwide with its comprehensive formulation expertise. With its subsidiaries in France and China, as well as an international network of partners, the Hamburg-based company supports customers throughout the entire development process for innovative formulations.
