Colour cosmetics brand Polite Society has stepped into the skin care category with its latest launch.

French Rose Milk, which launches on 21 December, is a serum-infused spray, formulated in Korea with skin care activities for a ‘glass skin’ finish.

For co-founders Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson – the Too Faced creators who launched Polite Society in 2023 – French Rose Milk is a natural progression to its existing range of make-up products.

“It is the perfect hybrid between make-up and skin care,” Blandino told Cosmetics Business.

“It is a spray that hydrates the skin, visibly softening the appearance of dry skin for better make-up application, and then acts as a glazing mist for a snatched, gorgeous make-up effect.”

The ultra-fine, alcohol-free mist blends French rose extracts to calm and moisturise skin.

Hydration is provided through the addition of hyaluronic acid and squalane, while niacinamide helps to brighten and even skin tone.

The product takes inspiration from the ‘glass skin’ trend popularised in Korea.

“It offers a gorgeous skin-glazing effect that gives you that oh-so-trendy glassy skin made popular in Korea, with just one simple step, while supporting a healthy-looking complexion over time,” explained Blandino.
