Swell is a new UK hair care brand designed to bring volume and growth to fine, limp and thinning hair. The brand has made its debut with a silicone-free line consisting of: Advanced Volumising Shampoo, Advanced Volumising Conditioner and Root Nutrient Complex.
The brand was founded by hair stylist Andrew Bidwell and homeopath Jonathan Stallick, and took two years’ research, according to the brand. The products contain naturally derived ingredients such as Peruvian Maca, believed to help stimulate hair growth while also protecting it from environmental stress, as well as Swiss apple extract, which is believed to help slow skin ageing and hair loss. According to Swell’s tests, its products help to stimulate hair growth by up to 93% and reduce hair loss by up to 50%. Priced between £26 to £30, Swell is sold at Fenwick, Planet Organic and online.
