The Kosé-owned colour cosmetics brand has promoted Sri Ganapathy and Danielle Porter to more senior positions

Tarte Cosmetics has changed up its leadership team with two internal promotions.

Sri Ganapathy has been named as the brand’s Chief Financial Officer, replacing his former role as SVP of Finance and Administration, effective immediately.

Throughout his six-year career at Tarte, he is said to have played a “pivotal role” in the company's financial management and systems efficiency.

Ganapathy will now lead Tarte’s digital transformation initiatives going forward, as well as its financial strategy and IT divisions.

Ganapathy said he was “incredibly excited” to assume his new role, adding: "I'm particularly eager to spearhead Tarte's digital transformation efforts, as data and technology continues to reshape the beauty landscape."

The Kosé-owned colour cosmetics brand came under fire from consumers earlier this January following a ‘tone-deaf’ influencer trip to Dubai.

Tarte later addressed the criticism by poking fun at itself in a video which went viral on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Danielle Porter has been promoted to SVP of Supply Chain, where she will spearhead Tarte’s production, supply chain and demand planning efforts.

Prior to her five-year career at Tarte, Porter worked at L'Oréal for eight years in a number of roles across supply chain and packaging.

The appointments are the latest leadership changes for Tarte, following the promotion of two Vice Presidents, Erica Hillmann and Theresa Cowing, to VP of Creative Services and E-commerce respectively.
