When Dove bottled the scent of its Original Beauty Bar into a limited-edition fine fragrance last month, it took the 69-year-old cleansing product off bathroom shelves and gave people a new way to experience it.
But the most interesting aspect of the limited-edition Dove Original Fragrance is not that the Unilever-owned body and hair care brand launched its first perfume, it is what that fragrance can do, and has done, for the hero product it already sells.
