Yves Rocher puts a stop on Latin American investment
The Yves Rocher group, which develops and produces cosmetics based on vegetable raw materials, has said it will freeze investment in Latin America owing to the financial crisis. Director general of the company, Stephane Bianchi said this was not the time to be making such investments.

Sales are not expected to grow by more than 2% in 2009 and might even fall by 2%, though the group has said it will benefit from a revamping of its shops. Last year sales reached €2.03bn with net profits between 3% and 3.5% of sales.
