MUA and brand founder Charlotte Tilbury MBE has been appointed Global Ambassador for UK youth charity The King’s Trust.
Tilbury will also be Co-Chair of the charity’s Global Gala fundraising event, which takes place on 29 April in New York, US.
The move marks a stepping up of the partnership between Tilbury and King’s Trust, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, reinforcing its global mission to empower young people to learn, earn, and thrive.
Tilbury’s namesake brand, Charlotte Tilbury, is a charity partner of The King’s Trust, and has previously donated sales from its Magic Cream to the charity.
She is also an Ambassador for Enterprise for the charity and has supported its Amal Clooney Female Empowerment Award internationally.
The new global role “reflects her enduring commitment to championing young people and entrepreneurship worldwide”, said the brand Charlotte Tilbury in a statement.
Tilbury will amplify the charity’s work on the global stage and advocate for “greater access to the skills, confidence and opportunities young people need to thrive”, the brand added.
In a post on Instagram announcing her appointment, Tilbury said: “For over 50 years, The King’s Trust has been empowering young people around the world to build confidence, develop skills and create brighter futures.
“I am proud to have supported The Trust for many years as Ambassador for Enterprise, funding, championing and nurturing young talent through mentor programmes, their Get Hired scheme and fundraising.
“It means so much to me to now champion this extraordinary mission on a global scale.”
