Véronique Courtois (pictured above) has been named Chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and of LVMH's Beauty Division.

Courtois joins the luxury giant’s Executive Committee and will oversee the activities of all maisons in its Beauty Division, which are organised under Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, LVMH Fragrance Brands and Kendo.

She will also retain her role as the head of Parfums Christian Dior to ensure “managerial and strategic continuity” after having “remarkably developed the… desirability” of the brand.

Courtois succeeds Stéphane Rinderknech, who LVMH said in a statement has “decided to leave the group to pursue new personal projects”.

Courtois is an LVMH veteran, having joined the giant 26 years ago in 2000.

She held various responsibilities, including markets and marketing roles at the company, before becoming Chief Marketing Officer of Guerlain in 2007.

She then joined Christian Dior Couture in 2010 as Marketing Director, before being named Brand General Director of Parfums Christian Dior in 2012.

She was later promoted to President and CEO of Guerlain in 2019, before becoming President and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior in March 2023.

Antoine Arnault, Director of Image & Environment, has also joined LVMH’s Executive Committee.

He will oversee image, communication and sustainable development projects, for which he has held full responsibility since 2020.

“I am very pleased to welcome Véronique and Antoine to the group Executive Committee,” said Stéphane Bianchi, Managing Director, LVMH Group.

“Throughout their rich careers at LVMH, Véronique and Antoine have consistently demonstrated our group's values and propelled its ambitious development through their impactful achievements.

“I am delighted to welcome their unique expertise and knowledge to the Executive Committee, where they will be instrumental in shaping our strategic direction."

Bianchi also commented on Rinderknech’s departure, stating he has “greatly contributed to the growth of our Hospitality Division before bringing his recognised expertise to the beauty business”.

Bianchi added: “I am thankful for his contribution and results, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
