Sephora UK has unveiled the opening dates for its first specialised boutique concept stores in Central London, and they launch sooner than you think.
The LVMH-owned retailer is opening smaller store formats in London this summer as part of its “next chapter” of growth in the UK market, in response to customer feedback on how Sephora UK “can better serve [its customers] through more intimate spaces”.
The first 2,691sqft specialised boutique will be opening at London shopping destination Carnaby Street on 23 July.
The second 2,045sqft boutique will open in London’s Old Spitalfields Market on 30 July.
Sephora UK said these boutiques will be complementary to its large store formats as it continues to fine-tune its business strategy.
“We are proud to be introducing our new boutique format in London – a concept shaped directly by customer feedback and designed to complement the way people shop today,” said Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK.
“Whether you are looking for a destination beauty experience or a quick beauty discovery on-the-go, our ambition remains the same.

“To inspire, educate and empower through an inclusive and innovative retail experience; bringing our legendary stable of beauty brands even closer to our beauty community.
“We cannot wait to welcome everyone through our doors to celebrate what promises to be a true Sephora summer.”
Sephora’s namesake range, Sephora Collection, will be available to shop, as well as an array of ‘Only At Sephora’ brands.
These include Hailey Bieber’s Rhode, Lady Gaga’s Haus Labs, Makeup by Mario, Merit Beauty, Donni Davy’s Half Magic, INNBeauty Project and Tower 28.
The boutique launch dates come as Sephora announces the official opening of two new large-format stores, too.
Sephora UK’s new store on St James in Edinburgh, Scotland, will open on 9 July, while its Silverburn, Glasgow, site will debut on 13 August.
