Developed initially for the luxury drinks sector but offering just as much potential for luxury cosmetics is Sleever International's new Skinsleever. This adds the sensorial dimension of touch to sleeving technology, recreating the feel of leather finishes including lizard, python and ostrich in a range of colours.

This adds the sensorial dimension of touch to sleeving technology, recreating the feel of leather finishes including lizard, python and ostrich in a range of colours.

This development represents a combination of new technologies. First is a new generation of mono-oriented elastomer-based film able to remember its shape after heat shrinking, making relief or 3D patterns. This can be combined with a new bespoke helio-engraving printing technique in eight to nine colours and highly accurate positioning to reproduce the subtle effects of luxury leathers. Other 3D effects would also be possible.
