Tropic Skincare founder Susie Ma is set to return to BBC’s Dragons’ Den as a series regular.
Ma, who first appeared on the show as a guest Dragon earlier this year, has joined Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett in the Den for the upcoming series.
The show sees budding business owners pitch their products to a panel of wealthy investors in the hopes of securing funding and investment.
She replaces Touker Suleyman, who has left the show as he looks to focus on newly-launched beauty brand Lipstick London.
“I am so excited to be returning,” said Ma.
Tickets are now available for the 25th anniversary of the Pure Beauty Awards, taking place on 15 October 2026 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, UK. Join the beauty industry for an evening of recognition and celebration as this year’s winners are revealed. Click here to secure your place.
“I loved the experience last time, but what has really drawn me back is the opportunity to discover and back founders who are doing things differently – particularly those who may not always get the investment or opportunities they deserve.
“After more than 20 years of building Tropic, I have seen first-hand that business can be a powerful force for good.
“For me, it is about balancing the head and the heart: the numbers and the opportunity have to stack up, but I am also looking for founders with a clear sense of purpose and the ambition to create something that has an impact beyond the bottom line.
“I know how powerful it can be when someone believes in you and your vision, and I am really excited to have the chance to give that belief to the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
Ma first launched Tropic Skincare on a stall in Greenwich Market, London, UK, at just 15 years old, and has since grown the brand into a £68m beauty business with 275 employees and a community of more than 25,000 ambassadors across the UK.
She is no stranger to the world of business-focused reality television, having first made a name for herself – and Tropic Skincare – as a competitor on The Apprentice.

After appearing on the seventh season of British business-styled reality game show The Apprentice in 2011, Ma was offered £200,000 in funding from Lord Sugar to invest in the brand.
She has since regained full ownership of the business, buying out business magnate Lord Sugar.
Fellow beauty entrepreneur Jenna Meek, CEO of Refy, is also returning as a guest Dragon in the upcoming series, alongside footballing legend Gary Neville and newcomer Jamie Laing, founder of Candy Kittens and co-host of the Great Company podcast.
