Stirling Murray, chief executive of brand building specialist The Core Business, has confirmed details of his presentation at February’s conference organised by SPC and ECM magazines. The title of what may prove to be an essential session in a tough economic climate is “Future trends: where to look for your next big idea”.
Murray joins chair John Woodruff and fellow confirmed speakers Paul Crawford of the Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA); David Pybus from Scents Of Time; Steve Gibbons, MD, Dew Gibbons; Organatural's Barbara Olioso; Jonathan Ford, creative partner, Pearlfisher; Peter Kelly, MD, Taxi London Cosmetics Ltd; Irina Barbalova, head of cosmetics and toiletries research, Euromonitor International; WRAP's Peter Skelton; and Robin Dickinson, customer and projects manager, The Carbon Trust.
Topics include consumer needs, packaging design, naturals and organics, realistic claims and male grooming.
The event will “deliver strategic thinking to the health and beauty industry,” said SPC and ECM managing editor Clare Henderson. “Delegate feedback from previous years has shaped the topics, speakers and structure of Beauty Focus 2009, so the conference offers more of what you want.”
Online and telephone bookings are now being taken for Beauty Focus 2009. The conference, to be held London’s Kensington Copthorne Tara Hotel on 19 February, will cover the key issues and trends affecting today’s C&T industry.
