Core Business and Ministry of Sound agreement called off

The Core Business’ licensing agreement with nightclub and record label Ministry of Sound has been terminated according to the brand building specialist. Terms concerning the termination are still ongoing.

The deal, which was announced earlier this year would have seen The Core Business develop a range of men’s and women’s personal care products for The Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi brands.

The Ministry of Sound had been granted an option to subscribe for 2,119,822 ordinary shares, the equivalent of 5% of The Core Business’ issued share capital.

The Core Business ceo, Stirling Murray said: “Although we are disappointed with the decision by Ministry of Sound to end the contract, we have a number of continuing contracts with major clients and a strong pipeline of new business.”
