Scent Marketing Institute unveils Miami fragrance

Published: 2-Dec-2011

Will be used to market the area at events and in promotional items

The Scent Marketing Institute is unveiling a new fragrance inspired by Greater Miami to mark the ScentWorld Expo, taking place 7-9 December in Miami. The Miami fragrance was created by Rene Morganthaler, master perfumer at Smart Fragrances, a member of the Scent Marketing Institute. Companies such as hotels and retail stores, plus those offering consumer packaged goods can use scent marketing in their environment or packaging.

“I can’t tell you what the scent of Miami smells like,” said Jennifer Dublino, coo of the Scent Marketing Institute, “but I can tell you that it epitomises the fresh, chic and dynamic character of Miami and the surrounding areas.”

The fragrance will be presented to the executive vp and cmo of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Rolando Aedo, at the opening event of the conference and the GMCVB will use the scent to promote the area at events, in promotional items and as a personal fragrance.
