Seven Aveda items the first beauty products to receive Cradle to Cradle (C2C) endorsement
Estée Lauder-owned Aveda has announced that seven of its products have been awarded the C2C sustainability endorsement, achieving a Gold Level C2C certification. This follows four Aveda ingredients receiving the same endorsement in May last year.
Estée Lauder-owned Aveda has announced that seven of its products have been awarded the C2C sustainability endorsement, achieving a Gold Level C2C certification. This follows four Aveda ingredients receiving the same endorsement in May last year.
Aveda says it is the first beauty company in the world, and only the second company in any industry, to receive this endorsement, which recognises companies efforts in “developing environmentally-intelligent products with a goal of eliminating waste entirely”.
The products comprise Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo, Aveda Smooth Infusion Conditioner, Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturising Shampoo, Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturising Conditioner, Aveda Men Pure-Formance Shampoo, Aveda Men Pure-Formance Conditioner and Aveda Green Science Face Cream.
