Avant garde designers Viktor & Rolf (L'Oréal) have launched their first masculine fragrance, two years after their debut into fragrance with Flower Bomb. Antitdote, a rich woody oriental, created by IFF's Alienor Massenet and Pierre Wargnye; is described as a magic potion by the designers as the woody construction of the scent is contrasted with a floral accent.
Top notes of mint leaves, bergamot, madarin orange, grapefruit and cardomon are underlined by the heart of Sambac jasmine absolute, lavender, geranium, nutmeg cinnamon, freesia, orange blossom and violet. Finally the woody dry down comprises amber, patchouli, cistus labdanum absolute, vanilla, iris and sandalwood, in addition to white cedar, guaiacum wood, tree moss, leather, white musk and tonka bean.
The bottle, designed by Fabien Baron has been created to resemble tuxedo, with clean bevelled lines, which shows off the green juice inside.
