Reveals holiday products line-up

Coty has enjoyed a busy few months. Not only did it acquire several new brands and licenses, but it has also introduced new products across several fragrance franchises.

As part of Calvin Klein’s across-the-board revamp of its CK One brand (which now includes a CK One line of jeans) two new CK One fragrance variants are being introduced: CK One Shock For Her and CK One Shock For Him. Launched in Boots stores across the UK last week and launching in the US from September, CK One Shock For Her is described as a sensual floriental, while the male scent blends smooth spice with a masculine tobacco musk. The launch will be supported by a campaign featuring models Lara Stone and Alice Dellal, among others.

Also new to the Calvin Klein line-up is Forbidden Euphoria, a fruitier, younger interpretation of the original Euphoria fragrance.

In addition, Coty has launched a flanker for its Davidoff Champion product, Davidoff Champion Energy – which features top notes of grapefruit and bergamot, which fade down to galbanum and fresh spices – and will also introduce a “sexier older sister” to Vivienne Westwood’s Naughty Alice, called Cheeky Alice.

Meanwhile skin care and toiletries brand Philosophy – acquired by Coty last year – continues its tradition of holiday-themed products with new sets including Marshmallows For Toasting and Sparkling Cranberry, as well as Christmas tree decorations containing 60ml versions of Snow Angel, Peppermint Bark and The Gingerbread Girl.

In 2012, Coty plans to launch a new fragrance under its Roberto Cavalli franchise, the license for which it took over at the beginning of this month, and another new flanker under the CK One brand.
