YSL Beauty has named 29-year-old actor Alisha Boe Global Ambassador for its flagship fragrance Black Opium.
The star of Netflix television series 13 Reasons Why and Apple TV+'s The Buccaneers will front the L'Oréal-licensed company’s newest addition to its hero scent, Black Opium Pink Glaze.
A YSL Beauty statement said the appointment marks “a thrilling new chapter for its flagship fragrance”.
Boe was chosen as Black Opium’s new Gen Z face because she “represents a new era of Hollywood built” on connection, individuality and self-expression, the brand claimed.
“I am so excited to be the new Global Ambassador because this fragrance is really an invitation to embrace your most unapologetic self, turn up the music and bring everyone along for the ride,” said Boe.

"Black Opium is pure adrenaline – that raw, electric energy of a night out.
“It does not play it safe, and that is exactly why I love it.”
Black Opium launched in 2014 and has become a fragrance icon for YSL Beauty.
New addition Pink Glaze is described as “mixing the dark, captivating warmth of classic rich coffee bean, with a vibrant, hyper-juicy strawberry accord”.
Boe joins other A-listers in YSL Beauty’s ambassador roster, including singer Charli XCX, who fronts the brand’s luxury make-up line.
